A bit more about me...
School:
I graduated from Providence College with a major in political science and double minor in history and western civilization. I earned my master's degree from Tufts University. Since graduation, I have taken a number of courses ranging from "Terror In the Name of God," "History Through Film and Literature," to "China and Japan: A Comparative Study," where I participated in a study-tour group in Japan. I love to learn which is why I became a teacher!
Involvement at DS (outside the classroom): I am the co-director of Student Activities and Organizations, I also co-advise both Women's Group and the Dover-Sherborn Chapter of the National Honors Society.
Please ask about these clubs!
Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family- especially my children, Will and Maggie. I also enjoy many weekends grading at my family's house in Plymouth, MA....

I enjoy baking, traveling, swimming, and skiing. I also love politics and I spent ten years (prior to the birth of my children) working summers at the State House in Boston. Although I am no longer working under the "golden dome," I still follow state and national news and am somewhat of a news addict.
I am looking forward to meeting all of my students this year and wish them all a wonderful year!
